Illinois High School Volleyball - St. Bede can't hold off Bureau Valley

In Thursday's league battle, the host Bureau Valley Storm volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the St. Bede Bruins.
The Storm (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Mendota (Mendota, IL). The Trojans come into the Three Rivers battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Mendota was edged by Sandwich (Sandwich, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bruins clash with the Cissna Park Timberwolves (Cissna Park, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 17. St. Bede will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Timberwolves come into the battle with a 8-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL).
