The Murfreesboro Lacrosse topped the host Cannon County Lions volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lawrence County for a AA District 9 test on Tuesday, September 20. Murfreesboro Lacrosse will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Summertown (Summertown, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-5.

The Lions (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Marshall County (Lewisburg, TN). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Marshall County was knocked off by Spring Hill (Columbia, TN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
