The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Travelers Rest Devildogs (Travelers Rest, SC) and the host Carolina Academy Trojans (Greenville, SC), saw Travelers Rest's volleyball squad beat Carolina Academy by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Travelers Rest upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Devildogs host Chapman (Inman, SC) to play the Panthers in a AAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-7.

The Trojans now have a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue Ridge for a AAA Region 3 test on Tuesday, September 20. Carolina Academy will confront a Fighting Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Woodruff (Woodruff, SC). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 4-5.
