The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) and the host Columbia Eagles (Decatur, GA), saw Southwest DeKalb's volleyball squad beat Columbia by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Southwest DeKalb upgrades its record to 15-8 on the year. The Panthers host Lithonia (Lithonia, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A Area 4 bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-5.

The Eagles now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Cedar Grove for a non-league bout on Monday, September 19. Columbia will play a Saints squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA). The Saints record now stands at 0-6.
