Georgia High School Volleyball - Pepperell over Coosa

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA) and the host Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA), saw Pepperell's volleyball squad beat Coosa by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Pepperell upgrades its record to 16-15 on the year. The Dragons travel to Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA) to play the Pumas in a 1A Area 7 bout on Thursday, September 15. The Pumas go into the bout with a record of 0-14. Dalton Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Murray County (Chatsworth, GA)

The Eagles now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they travel to Dade County for a 1A Area 7 bout on Tuesday, September 20. Coosa will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Chattooga (Summerville, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 18-7.
