In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Cornerstone Christian Cougars.

The Spartans (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Napa Christian (Napa, CA). The Knights come into the Small School Bridge battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Napa Christian achieved victory over Trinity Prep (Napa, CA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Summit Tamalpais Timberwolves (Richmond, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 16. Cornerstone Christian will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Timberwolves come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Kennedy (Richmond, CA).
