Next up, the Cardinals battle the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 19. East Surry will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Granite Bears come into the match with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Elkin (Elkin, NC).

With the loss, West Wilkes drops to 3-9 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Surry Central (Dobson, NC) to battle the Golden Eagles in a Foothills 2A match on Thursday, September 22. The Golden Eagles come into the match with a record of 4-6.
