Illinois High School Volleyball - Elverado over Shawnee

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Elverado Falcons (Elkville, IL) and the host Shawnee Redskins (Wolf Lake, IL), saw Elverado's volleyball squad beat Shawnee by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Elverado upgrades its record to 2-13 on the year. The Falcons travel to Zeigler-Royalton (Zeigler, IL) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 17. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 5-2.

The Redskins now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Joppa-Maple Grove for a South Egyptian bout on Tuesday, September 20. Shawnee will play a Rangers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Meridian (Mounds, IL). The Rangers record now stands at 1-6.
