Michigan High School Volleyball - Grosse Pointe North over Utica

September 15, 2022: Grosse Pointe, MI 48236

The Grosse Pointe North Norsemen (Grosse Pointe, MI) volleyball overcame the visiting Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Grosse Pointe North upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Norsemen travel to South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI) to play the Cougars in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 17. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 9-2. South Lyon East won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI)

The Chieftains now own a 11-14 record. They play next when they travel to Grosse Pointe South for a Macomb Area - White outing on Wednesday, September 21. Utica will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Lutheran North (Macomb, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-1.
