The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA) and the visiting Handley Judges (Winchester, VA), saw Liberty's volleyball squad beat Handley by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Liberty upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Eagles host Orange County (Orange, VA) to play the Fighting Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, September 19. The Fighting Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Orange County lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA)

The Judges now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Warren County for a Northwestern bout on Monday, September 19. Handley will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
