The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Hunter Wolverines (West Valley City, UT) and the host Roy Royals (Roy, UT), saw Hunter's volleyball squad beat Roy by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Hunter upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Wolverines host Cyprus (Magna, UT) to play the Pirates in a 6A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Cyprus lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Kearns (Kearns, UT)

The Royals now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to West for a 6A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, September 20. Roy will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Taylorsville (Taylorsville, UT). The Panthers record now stands at 4-10.
