The Magna Vista Warriors volleyball team (Ridgeway, VA), was nudged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA)

The Cougars (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Martinsville (Martinsville, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Piedmont challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Martinsville was nudged by Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 17. Magna Vista will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Buffaloes enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Patrick County (Stuart, VA).
