In Thursday's league contest, the Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Hurricanes battle the North Augusta Yellowjackets (North Augusta, SC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 17. Wren will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a 9-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Aiken (Aiken, SC).

With the loss, Palmetto drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Powdersville (Greenville, SC) to battle the Patriots in a AAA Region 2 contest on Thursday, September 22. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 7-0.
