The St. Paul Swordsmen volleyball team (Santa Fe Springs, CA), was nudged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets (Los Angeles, CA)

The Comets (10-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Mariners enter the Camino Real challenge with a 6-14 record.

Next, the Swordsmen encounter the Paraclete Spirits (Lancaster, CA) in a Gold Coast challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. St. Paul will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record. The Spirits enter the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Rosamond (Rosamond, CA).
