The Shaw Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Westside Seminoles to 0 in the Raiders league victory on Thursday.
The Raiders now possess a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Baldwin for a 4A Area 1 game on Thursday, September 15. Shaw will meet a Braves team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Shaw (Columbus, GA). The Braves record now stands at 5-5.
The Seminoles (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Hardaway (Columbus, GA). The Hawks enter the 4A Area 1 game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Hardaway defeated Russell County (Seale, AL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
