The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) and the visiting William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA), saw Spotswood's volleyball squad beat William Monroe by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Spotswood upgrades its record to 10-2 on the year. The Trailblazers host Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Valley bout on Monday, September 19. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Rockbridge County won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Northside (Roanoke, VA)

The Dragons now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Warren County for a Northwestern match on Tuesday, September 20.
