In Friday's league game, the Beaver Beavers (Beaver, UT) football team smashed the host Kanab Cowboys (Kanab, UT), by a score of 42-7.

The Beavers (5-1) will now prepare for their game against North Summit (Coalville, UT). The Braves come into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, North Summit overwhelmed Gunnison Valley (Gunnison, UT), 59-14, in a league game.

The Cowboys now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parowan for a 1A - South game on Friday, September 22. Kanab will meet a Rams team coming off a 45-7 league loss to Milford (Milford, UT). The Rams record now stands at 0-6.
