In Friday's league game, the Messalonskee Eagles (Oakland, ME) football team knocked off the visiting Cony Rams (Augusta, ME), by a final score of 39-21.
The Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Brewer (Brewer, ME). The Witches come into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Brewer was dropped by Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME), 30-6, in a league game.
The Rams now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lawrence for a B North game on Friday, September 22. Cony will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 34-0 league win over Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
