Indiana High School Football - Elkhart topped by Penn

The Elkhart Lions football team (Elkhart, IN), was beaten 21-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN)

The Kingsmen (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN). The Knights come into the Northern Indiana - East/West challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Mishawaka Marian achieved victory over South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN), 13-6, in a league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host South Bend St. Joseph for a Northern Indiana - East/West challenge on Friday, September 22. Elkhart will meet a Indians team coming off a 29-26 league loss to New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN). The Indians record now stands at 3-2.
