The Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers football team (Howard Lake, MN), was beaten 28-8 in Friday's league challenge with the host Rockford Rockets (Rockford, MN)

The Rockets (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Montevideo (Montevideo, MN). The Thunderhawks come into the Mid Northwest - White challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Montevideo achieved victory over Melrose (Melrose, MN), 33-7, in a league challenge.
