Utah High School Football - South Summit sneaks past Layton Christian Academy

September 15, 2023: Kamas, UT 84036

The South Summit Wildcats (Kamas, UT) football edged the visiting Layton Christian Academy Eagles (Layton, UT), 28-21 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Summit Academy Bears (Bluffdale, UT) in a 2A - North bout, on Friday, September 22. South Summit will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 35-21 league win over American Leadership Academy (Spanish Fork, UT).

The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Judge Memorial Catholic (Salt Lake City, UT). The Bulldogs enter the 2A - North bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Judge Memorial Catholic was nudged by Providence Hall (Herriman, UT), 22-14, in a league bout.
