Utah High School Football - Maple Mountain held off by Wasatch

September 15, 2023: Heber City, UT 84032

In Friday's league game, the Wasatch Wasps (Heber City, UT) football team tipped the visiting Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT), by a final score of 35-34.

The Wasps (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Springville (Springville, UT). The Red Devils come into the 5A Region 7 game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Springville got by Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT), 49-0, in a league game.

The Golden Eagles now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Orem for a 5A Region 7 game on Friday, September 22. Maple Mountain will battle a Tigers team coming off a 41-21 league loss to Timpview (Provo, UT). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.
