    The Mt. Hope Huskies football team (Bristol, RI), was beaten 20-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI)

    The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Warwick (West Warwick, RI). The Wizards come into the Division III-B challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, West Warwick achieved victory over Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI), 24-3, in a league challenge.

    The Huskies now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Narragansett for a Division III-B challenge on Friday, September 22. Mt. Hope will meet a Mariners team coming off a 56-14 league loss to Moses Brown (Providence, RI). The Mariners record now stands at 0-2.
