In Friday's league game, the Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC) football team got by the visiting Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC), by a score of 20-15.

The Trojans (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles come into the 3A/4A All-American game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Western Harnett was tipped by Harnett Central (Angier, NC), 54-6, in a league game.

The Wolverines now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Harnett Central for a 3A/4A All-American game on Friday, September 22. Westover will meet a Trojans team coming off a 54-6 league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-3.
