West Virginia High School Football - Webster County drops to Tyler

September 15, 2023: Sistersville, WV 26175

In Friday's non-league game, the Tyler Knights (Sistersville, WV) football team knocked off the visiting Webster County Highlanders (Upper Glade, WV), by a final score of 48-18.

The Knights (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV). The Tigers come into the Little Kanawha game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Wirt County was dropped by St. Marys (St. Marys, WV), 34-12, in a league game.

The Highlanders now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host South Harrison for a Little Kanawha game on Friday, September 22. Webster County will battle a Hawks team coming off a 34-32 league loss to Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV). The Hawks record now stands at 0-3.
