The Cornerstone Christian Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Appalachian Christian Trailblazers to 0 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.
The Cougars now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Regents for a game on Monday, September 18. Cornerstone Christian will confront a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ridgeview Christian (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Lions record now stands at 3-5.
The Trailblazers (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA). The Bears enter the game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Blue Ridge Christian gained a win over Grace Christian (Staunton, VA), 2-0, in a league game.
