The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Mt. Carmel Christian Academy Warriors (Luray, VA) and the visiting Regents Lions (Charlottesville, VA), saw Mt. Carmel Christian Academy's volleyball squad beat Regents by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Mt. Carmel Christian Academy upgrades its record to 7-0 on the year. The Warriors travel to United Christian Academy (Stanardsville, VA) to play the Crusaders in a bout on Monday, September 18. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

The Lions now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgeview Christian for a bout on Saturday, September 16. Regents will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Cornerstone Christian (Rockingham, VA). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-2.
