Katahdin Cougars (Sherman Station, ME) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Hodgdon Hawks (Hodgdon, ME), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Easton Bears (Easton, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 18. Katahdin will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 8-0 league win over Lee Academy (Lee, ME).

The Hawks now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashland for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Hodgdon will confront a Hornets team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Easton (Easton, ME). The Hornets record now stands at 1-3.
