Farmington Knights (Farmington, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Parkway West Longhorns (Ballwin, MO), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lee's Summit North for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16. Farmington will battle a Broncos squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Hallsville (Hallsville, MO). The Broncos record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Parkway West falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Oakville (St. Louis, MO) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 7-9. Oakville lost 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Lee's Summit North (Lee's Summit, MO)
