Howell Vikings (St. Charles, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs (St. Peters, MO), 11-1 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Sullivan for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 18. Howell will face a Eagles squad coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Owensville (Owensville, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Fort Zumwalt South falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Fort Zumwalt North (O'Fallon, MO) to face the Panthers in a Class 4 District 7 challenge on Tuesday, September 19. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-10. Fort Zumwalt North lost 16-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Ritenour (Overland, MO)
