Texas High School Volleyball - Alvin overwhelmed by Pearland

The Alvin Yellowjackets volleyball team (Alvin, TX), went down 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Pearland Oilers (Pearland, TX)

The Oilers (24-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Dawson (Pearland, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region III District 23 challenge with a 25-8 record. In their last challenge, Dawson defeated Friendswood (Friendswood, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Shadow Creek Sharks (Pearland, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Alvin will attempt to move on its 9-19 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 17-15 record after their 3-0 league win over Alief Elsik (Houston, TX).
