Texas High School Volleyball - Denton crushed by Birdville

The Birdville Hawks topped the visiting Denton Broncos volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's league test.

The Hawks now have a 20-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Argyle for a 5A Region I District 7 test on Tuesday, September 19. Birdville will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 25-7.

The Broncos (22-9) will now prepare for their test against Ryan (Denton, TX). The Raiders enter the 5A Region I District 7 test with a 19-14 record. In their last test, Ryan was knocked off by Grapevine (Grapevine, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
