The Bonnabel Bruins held off the host West Jefferson Buccaneers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bruins now have a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Plaquemines for a non-league test on Friday, September 15. Bonnabel will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-3.
The Buccaneers (1-2) will now prepare for their test against West St. John (Edgard, LA). The Rams enter the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, West St. John was nudged by Lutheran (Metairie, LA), 3-2, in a non-league test.
