The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) and the visiting Valley View Eagles (Valley View, TX), saw Boyd's volleyball squad beat Valley View by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Boyd upgrades its record to 20-6 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX) to play the Bearcats in a 3A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 1-18.

The Eagles now own a 0-17 record. They play next when they host Whitesboro for a 3A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, September 19. Valley View will play a Bearcats squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 16-15.
