Next up, the Sandcrabs battle the Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 30 match, on Tuesday, September 19. Calhoun will attempt to better on its 23-5 season record. The Pirates come into the match with a 17-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Jones (Beeville, TX).

With the loss, Victoria East drops to 12-13 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a 5A Region IV District 29 match on Tuesday, September 19. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 16-16. Gregory-Portland lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX)
