The Calvary Academy Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Lubbock Christian Eagles to 1 in the Lions league victory on Friday.

The Lions now have a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity for a TAPPS 3A District 1 game on Saturday, September 16. Calvary Academy will meet a Chargers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Fellowship Academy (Kennedale, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 17-6.

The Eagles (17-5) will now prepare for their game against Fellowship Academy (Kennedale, TX). The Mustangs enter the TAPPS 3A District 1 game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Fellowship Academy dropped by Trinity (Midland, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
