North Carolina High School Volleyball - Queen's Grant over Carolina International

September 15, 2023: Matthews, NC 28105

Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Stallions clash with the Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 19. Queen's Grant will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Mariners come into the match with a 12-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Walnut Grove Christian (Fort Mill, SC).

With the loss, Carolina International drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Comets host Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a Metro Eight 1A match on Tuesday, September 19. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 9-3. Piedmont Community Charter won 3-0 in their recent league match against Apprentice Academy (Monroe, NC)
