Texas High School Volleyball - Port Neches-Groves tips Crosby

September 15, 2023: Port Neches, TX 77651

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Port Neches-Groves Indians (Port Neches, TX) and the visiting Crosby Cougars (Crosby, TX), saw Port Neches-Groves's volleyball squad nip Crosby by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Port Neches-Groves upgrades its record to 21-8 on the year. The Indians travel to Wisdom (Houston, TX) to play the Generals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Wisdom won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Northside (Houston, TX)

The Cougars now own a 10-20 record. They play next when they host Nederland for a 5A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, September 19. Crosby will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 22-12.
