Texas High School Volleyball - Ennis can't hold off Lancaster

September 15, 2023: Lancaster, TX 75146

In Friday's league battle, the host Lancaster Tigers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Ennis Lions.

The Tigers (16-9) will now prepare for their battle against Forney (Forney, TX). The Jackrabbits come into the 5A Region II District 14 battle with a 23-7 record. In their last battle, Forney was edged by Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Lions clash with the Terrell Tigers (Terrell, TX) in a 5A Region II District 14 battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Ennis will attempt to advance on its 11-15 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 2-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Red Oak (Red Oak, TX).
