Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers (Norfolk, VA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Granby advances its record to 8-1 on the season. The Comets travel to Norview (Norfolk, VA) to play the Pilots in a Eastern challenge on Wednesday, September 17. The Pilots come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Norview lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Maury (Norfolk, VA)

Next, the Mighty Bookers play the Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA) in a Eastern challenge, on Wednesday, September 17. Booker T. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Manor (Portsmouth, VA).
