Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) followers went home pleased Monday as they saw their flag football team triumph over the visiting Center Cougars (Antelope, CA), 36-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Oakmont upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Vikings travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, CA) to confront the Fighting Zebras in a Pioneer Valley League match on Wednesday, September 17. The Fighting Zebras go into the battle with a record of 1-4. Lincoln lost 18-0 in their recent non-league battle against Roseville (Roseville, CA)

The Cougars now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cordova for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. Center will play a Lancers team coming off a 25-14 non-league loss to Inderkum (Sacramento, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-11.
