New York High School Soccer - Coxsackie-Athens held off by Maple Hill

In Monday's league contest, the Maple Hill Wildcats (Castleton on Hudson, NY) soccer team edged the visiting Coxsackie-Athens Riverhawks (Coxsackie, NY), by a count of 3-2.

Next, the Wildcats face the Cairo-Durham Mustangs (Cairo, NY) in a Patroon challenge, on Wednesday, September 17. Maple Hill will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Taconic Hills (Craryville, NY).

With the loss, Coxsackie-Athens moves to 4-1 on the year. The Riverhawks travel to Greenville (Greenville, NY) to encounter the Spartans in a Patroon challenge on Wednesday, September 17.
