In Monday's league outing, the visiting Prout Crusaders soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Moses Brown Quakers.

The Crusaders (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Westerly (Westerly, RI). The Bulldogs go into the Division 2 test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Westerly South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 1-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Quakers play the Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 16. Moses Brown will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Patriots go into the outing with a 2-6 record after their 2-1 league loss to East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI).
