With the triumph, Chilhowie upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Marion (Marion, VA) to meet the Scarlet Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Scarlet Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Fort Chiswell will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 3-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Narrows (Narrows, VA).
