Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the host Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders (Coal Township, PA), 3-2 in a non-league outing.

The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA). The Cardinals go into the Schuylkill County 1 outing with a 9-2 record. In their last outing, Pine Grove got by Palmerton (Palmerton, PA), 1-0, in a non-league test.

The Red Raiders now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tamaqua for a Schuylkill County 1 test on Wednesday, September 17. Our Lady of Lourdes Regional will play a Blue Raiders squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 1-7.
