North Carolina High School Soccer - Chase held off by R-S Central

The R-S Central Hilltoppers edged the host Chase Trojans soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Monday's league game.
Next, the Hilltoppers face the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a Western Piedmont 3A/4A game, on Wednesday, September 17. R-S Central will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 9-0 league win over Draughn (Valdese, NC).
The Trojans (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers enter the Western Piedmont 3A/4A game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Hibriten held off East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC), 9-0, in a league game.
