The Stuart W. Cramer Storm soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Cherryville Ironmen to 1 in the Storm league victory on Monday.
The Storm now hold a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Shelby for a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A bout on Thursday, September 18. Stuart W. Cramer will play a Golden Lions squad coming off a 5-2 league win over Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Golden Lions record now stands at 5-6.
The Ironmen (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Yellow Jackets enter the Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Bessemer City held off East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC), 3-1, in a league bout.
