The Schroon Lake Wildcats held off the visiting Fort Ann Cardinals soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Crown Point for a Northern bout on Wednesday, September 17.
With the loss, Fort Ann drops to 5-2 on the season. The Cardinals host Granville (Granville, NY) to face the Golden Horde in a Adriondack game on Wednesday, September 17. The Golden Horde go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Granville lost 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Hartford Central (Hartford, NY)
