The Crisp Academy Wildcats overwhelmed the host Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane softball squad by a count of 20-6 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the Westwood Wildcats (Camilla, GA) in a GIAA Class A & AA District 3 outing, on Tuesday, September 16. Crisp Academy will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the outing with a 3-7 record after their 17-0 league loss to Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA).

With the loss, Fitzgerald moves to 2-18 on the campaign. The Purple hurricane travel to Worth County (Sylvester, GA) to meet the Rams in a 1A D-I Region 1 test on Tuesday, September 16. The Rams go into the test with a record of 6-11. Worth County lost 9-6 in their recent league test against Berrien (Nashville, GA)
