The Davenport Bulldogs softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Woodland Cougars to 3 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Monday.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Ripley Warriors (Ripley, OK) in a Class A challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Davenport will attempt to upgrade on its 18-5 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Glencoe (Glencoe, OK).

The Cougars (6-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Pawhuska (Pawhuska, OK). The Huskies enter the non-league challenge with a 14-8 record. In their last challenge, Pawhuska overcame Fairland (Fairland, OK), 13-12, in a league challenge.
